Ever wondered where the locals source fresh produce? Here are the top five wet markets in Hong Kong, ranked according to the number of stalls available, all providing different commodities and services. You’ll be able to find everything from fresh meat, to fruits, to cooked food – and even non-food-related wet and dry goods. In fact, you just might lose your way – unfortunately, Google Maps can’t help you there. 

So, here we go… 

#5: Ngau Chi Wan Market (402 stalls)

So we have a winner! Kowloon City is also known as Hong Kong’s Little Thailand owing to the plethora of authentic Thai restaurants and grocery stores. Be sure to check them out, as they are only a few minutes’ walk from Kowloon City Market.
