Hong Kong’s original trail blazing pastrychef Gérard Dubois shares his passion with Central, Hong Kong with the launchof Passion on Lyndhurst Terrace. This marks the third authentic Frenchpatisserie, confiserie and boulangerie for the Swiss-born pastry chefs’ latestventure.
Dubois’ love of baking, use of top qualityproducts, meticulous attention to detail and passion for presenting makes his pastries some of the most irresistible in town.
The menu comprises baked goods, confectionery, sandwiches, salads, as wellas hot meals. Open from 10:30am to 9pm, and serving food throughout theday, dinner is a particularly good one to drop in for. Prepared in Le Creuset pots, offernourishing home-style comfort food such as lamb stew, coq au vin, slowcooked beef and BBQ pork shank are available for dine-in between 5pm – 9pm.
For lunch, we suggest the sandwiches, which are made with artisan loavesbaked in-house that include the famous crusty sourdough and Passionbaguette. Favourite fillings include brie and turkey, and roast beef, while thesalad bar is a preferred option for those strong-willed enough to resist thetemptation of freshly baked bread wafting through the cafe. They also have 12 different types of salad for the more health conscious.
Afternoon tea is a treat at Passion, with trays filled with French pastries madewith pure French butter, desserts, and 18 flavours of macarons made freshlydaily at the Passion Atelier. The selection is a deliciousaccompaniment to any hot beverage or even the signature thick creamychocolat chaud. Signature sweets include mango Mont Blanc, crème brulee andmixed berry tunnel.
