Foodie NEWS: Magnolia to Merge with Corner Kitchen Cooking School & Cater Private Dining Parties

After ten years in Sheung Wan, Magnolia closed up and told everyone they would be moving to greener pastures sometime this year. We are super glad that it happened in the first quarter of the year, because we were worrying about the mental health of some of our staff members when told there would be no more pecan pie. We need the pecan pie Magnolia.

Private Kitchen Magnolia to Merge with Corner Kitchen Cafe

Foodie can reveal Magnolia is merging operations with Corner Kitchen, a much loved Sheung Wan eatery on Hollywood Rd. They’re not exactly opening up inside the well-known cafe, but they will be offering private dinner parties at their cooking school round the corner, which means the private kitchen has effectively been resurrected. Excellent.

The fantastic, award winning Magnolia food will still be available for catering (takeaway menu here) and they are also partnering with several venues around town if you still want that Magnolia experience outside of Sheung Wan–best give them a call if you fancy pecan pie, ribs or a crab cake fix.

To celebrate the merger, let the Corner Kitchen Cooking School guys know you’re a Magnolia fan and get a free case of wine for every regular priced cooking party of 15 or more people booked between now and March 15, 2016 and to be held before May 31st 2016.
