Following the success of its opening and after being named by CNN as the ‘Best New Restaurant 2016’ in Hong Kong, the Mercedes me store and its Executive Chef Edgar Sanuy have launched Mercedes me's Champagne Brunch.
A carefully selected international team of culinary experts and mixologists have put together an inventive dining experience that demonstrates creativity and focuses on honest, sublime ingredients. The Mercedes me Store is the perfect space to unwind over the weekend with great food, good friends and free-flow options.
Our culinary team from Maximal Concepts has created a multi-course brunch along with six different stations at Mercedes me that reflect the essence of Japanese, Peruvian and Spanish cuisines. All guests are greeted with a complimentary oyster upon their arrival. To begin, diners will find three buffet style stations offering handpicked ingredients to compose salads, a display of freshly baked pastries/breads and another station with cold cuts, pickled vegetables and cured seafood.
Diners can then move onto the three interactive stations, where our chefs will present a range of sustainable raw seafood. Diners will then choose their dressing and our chefs will prepare their chosen dish in front of them.
By popular demand, our culinary team has set up an ‘eggs cooked a-la-minute’ station with slow cooked, hard boiled to scrambled eggs. Diners can compliment their eggs with their favourite toppings. Lastly a farm cheese station is available with Chef Edgar’s selection of the day.
Onto the main courses, which are served at the table in tasting portions so everyone can get the chance to sample the following dishes:
- Sobrassada and Mozzarella Bikini
- Organic smoked salmon bikini with garlic and cream cheese
- Pork “presa” with smoked piquillo peppers
- Baked angel hair pasta with seaweed, roasted garlic aioli, in prawn jus
- Grilled tiger prawn with miso butter
- Australian aged wagyu skirt with shiso-churri
- Padron peppers with sea salt, organic Arbequina extra virgin olive oil
- Pont Neuf potatoes with garlic, Peruvian yellow aji dip
To round off the meal in sumptuous comfort, the Mercedes me offers signature desserts including the chocolate and hazelnut delice, dulce de leche, coffee sponge, whisky curd and Catalan cream foam. Like the main dishes, these desserts are also served at the table in tasting portions for sharing.
The new Mercedes me Champagne brunch is available every Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and is priced at $490, which includes 1 coffee per person, Buffet and A la carte Main Course.A free flow package is also available for an additional $280 including beer, Perrier Jouet champagne, Bloody Mary cocktails and Red/White wine.
