Exclusive New Coffee Flavours at Starbucks Hong Kong & Macau

Starbucks shops in Hong Kong & Macau have introduced the Coffee Innovation Campaign 2018 in order to develop inventive beverages, with the all-new Iced CoLychee Macchiato (Tall: $43; Grande: $47; Venti: $51) and Lavender Ristretto Macchiato (Tall: $43; Grande: $47; Venti: $51) making their debut this month. Starbucks aims to infuse creativity into their classic coffee, and as the seasons change, the global coffee brand is bringing out new flavours.

First up is the refreshing Iced CoLychee Macchiato, created by Starbucks’ partner Cola. With layers of chewy nata de coco, milk, lychee syrup and Starbucks’ signature espresso roast, topped with coconut-flavoured whipped cream, this drink is sure to tantalise your taste buds.

Next we have the Lavender Ristretto Macchiato, created by Starbucks’ partner Queenice. Available hot or cold, this beverage is a delicate, floral combination of steamed milk, a ristretto shot and lavender syrup. The icy edition is topped with lavender whipped cream (or foam for the warm bevvy), with both finished with light purple chocolate sprinkles for the ultimate treat for the eye.

There’s nothing better than comforting flavours when moving into the colder months, so Starbucks is bringing in two new sweet treats made with their signature coffee to awaken the senses.

Chiffon cake is all the craze at the minute, and Starbucks is jumping on the bandwagon with the addition of coffee chiffon cake.

For a more decadent option, the coffee chocolate hazelnut tart combines a buttery cookie crust and crisp hazelnut feuilletine with a rich espresso chocolate ganache filling. Finished with whipped cream and Starbucks coffee powder, this is sure to leave you feeling warm inside.

For those looking for something savoury, Starbucks is also introducing an eggplant and bolognese potato bake. The hearty ensemble of bolognese sauce, aubergine, diced potato and Cheddar cheese is a comfort-food classic.
