Travel expert Lonely Planet has compiled a list of of the world’s ultimate eats, bringing together the flavours and traditions of cultures across the globe into one gastronomic bucket list.

Making it onto the prestigious top 10 list is Hong Kong with its traditional dim dum. Joining Hong Kong in the top 10 are the likes of meticulously crafted sushi from Tokyo, juicy BBQ beef brisket from Texas and delectable, bite-sized pintxos from San Sebastián, Spain.

It’s said that some dishes are worth travelling for, but it’s probably beyond most people’s means to schedule in a trip around the world to get their hands on these prized eats. Fear not – we’ve searched long and hard through the streets of Hong Kong to bring you a list of where to find these top 10 world eats a little closer to home should you feel the need to feed those taste buds. It proved to be quite the challenge to locate some of the dishes at an affordable price point, but we think we have succeeded!
