Hong Kong is such a lucky place to have restaurants opened by famous chefs like Jamie Italian by Jamie Oliver and BSK by Gordon Ramsay. I've been looking forward to visiting Gordon Ramsay's restaurant and to have a blast with his food. Now I'm here! Some well toasted and crusty breads are first served at every table in a fancy gunny bag, along with a knob of butter.
While everyone is going for the popular tamarind spiced chicken wings, I decided to have a light king crab cocktail, dressed with creamy mayo, tossed with crunchy fresh lettuces, a few green apple slices for an added crunch, and a dusting of pink peppercorn that gives pleasant presentation. The portion is just right as a small bite.
Since brunch dishes are offered at the weekend, we get this egg dish for the Egg Benedict Day. The bacon is fried perfectly with crispy texture. While the English muffin is so wonderfully toasted in butter, the poached eggs are indeed impressive. They are cooked excellently with a runny yolk, soft egg white and their homemade Hollandaise sauce. This is certainly the taste I adore.
Apart from the Beef Wellington, the sticky toffee pudding is also a Gordon Ramsay signature dish. The banana pudding is completely drenched in an insatiable yet thick butterscotch-like sauce, topped with a smooth scoop of high quality clotted cream. Each bite is brought together in an extremely delectable way. How I wish I could have gotten the pineapple carpaccio too! Anyways, make sure to drop by BSK for some British comfort food!
