Currently, there's a worldwide emphasis on healthy food living. Sohofama, (G.O.D X Locofama) brings a crossover of modern Chinese cuisine with urban farming in PMQ. They ideally discard all MSG, chicken powder, any artificial seasonings and instead use organic ingredients and natural herbs to create chemical free Shanghainese comfort food.
Some of my favourites include the drunken organic egg, made subtly and fine for the perfect balance; my all-time-favourite, the slider bun, is fluffily stuffed with braised short ribs that simply just melt in my mouth.
Iconic dishes include the delicately shaped xiao long bao, made with juicy organic pork filling and ultra-thin wrappers and the traditional egg white stir fry, served with conpoy, button mushrooms and shrimp. The stir fry is then modestly topped with a whole flower crab. I am pretty impressed with their concepts and food overall.
