Hong Kong, the tiny, tiny little city with its super diverse demographics and culture always attracts me. The city is full of Japan-lovers, thus you might spot some hidden restaurants that serve really good Japanese food as well.
I have to say this is really a "local business" as you can tell from then number of seats - 9 ONLY!!The inner decor is mostly old-school Japanese style, which reminds me of a little midnight sake bar in Tokyo.
After my friend and I settled down, we ordered two sets of sashimi don worth $200 in total.
Namely, Salmon Tuna Sea-Urchin Don and the Salmon Scallop Sea-Urchin Don.
The actual size per serving is much larger than what you visually see from the picture above. All the ingredients are very fresh and the rice was the perfect temperature mixed with just the right amount of vinegar.
Nice food and good service; one of the Hong Kong local gems that you shouldn't miss.
