Executive Pastry Chef Matthieu Godard has created a menu featuring unique treats made with honey, including a golden macaron called The Bee filled with dark chocolate and honey, alongside a creamy mango and honey mousse, a salted caramel and honey ganache tartlet and more items made using honey that comes from an organic bee farm in Hong Kong. Served at the elegant Palm Court lobby lounge at The Langham, this tea set is presented to you on a honeycomb stand to add to the visual appeal of the experience – a definite Insta-worthy moment. Tosca x Alessi
Another special afternoon tea at the one-and-only Ritz-Carlton, served at Michelin-starred Italian restaurant Tosca, also famous for its breathtaking skyline views. Dutch designer Marcel Wanders introduces his Alessi Circus tableware collection in collaboration with Chef Pino Lavarra to form a colourful Circo di Tosca afternoon tea filled with vibrant patterns and shapes to radiate a circus theme. The menu includes an assortment of colourful doughnuts, hot dogs with black truffle and a range of circus treats such as popcorn with chocolate cake, candyfloss and crispy almonds. Mangoholic Afternoon Tea at Club @28
If you’re a mangoholic, the afternoon tea at Club @28 is perfect, with a menu showcasing three different types of mango: Luzon mango from The Philippines, narcissus mango from Thailand and apple mango from Australia. And if you know your mangoes, you‘ll know that these are some of the best kinds out there. Luxury fashion brand Shanghai Tang teams up with the InterContinental Lobby Lounge to create a summer afternoon tea set perfect for fashion and food lovers alike. Served in a specially created Shanghai Tang lacquered jewellery box in picture-perfect robin‘s egg blue, the set includes a range of both savoury and sweet delicacies.
