A pit stop at a trendy Thong Smith mall outlet is a given whenever we are in Bangkok and craving premium boat noodles.

With the recent news of Thong Smith’s soon-to-debut restaurant in Hong Kong – on Spring Garden Lane in Wan Chai, to be exact – we won’t have to wait for our next Thai holiday to savour the brand’s boat noodles topped with heaps of luscious Australian Wagyu beef and Kurobuta pork.

Beloved for its rich, slow-cooked broth, Thong Smith’s boat noodles are amongst the most expensive in Bangkok, with the priciest bowl costing around THB530. This translates to just under HKD135, so the price tag fits well within the range of Hong Kong’s more upmarket boat noodle spots.
