In the run up to Hong Kong’s hosting of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants on Mar. 25, the continent’s Best Restaurant Gaggan and its leading chef Gaggan Anand is coming to the Kerry Hotel on Mar. 23 for an exclusive dinner pop-up.

Hosted at Hung Tong, the Bangkok-based chef will host his “Gaggan Tirreti Bazaar” 10-course tasting menu that focuses on Indian street food culture, and more specifically the flavours of Gaggan’s hometown of Kolkata.

The dinner begins with four dim sum bites including momo paneer peas and king crab Chettinand pepper fry, before the Kolkata hot and sour fish maw soup

Main course dishes like the cod paturi in black bean sauce and crispy chow mein with abalone, morels, and spiced XO sauce ready the palate for dessert, a chilled mango and pistachio soup, plus the chef’s signature Lick It Up dessert

The dinner costs HKD2,288 per person with two seatings at 6PM and 9PM.
