The Peninsula’s revelrous Swiss restaurant Chesa reveals a new way to enjoy its European food with a new, expanded menu.

Chesa, with 60 years of history in Tsim Sha Tsui in its pocket, has undergone a renovation to elicit nostalgia for Alpine dining in the European nation, with a woody interior inspired by apres skiing and Swiss chalets. 

Whilst cheese fondue was central to the menu in the restaurant’s previous iterations, Chesa brings new dishes to the front that ooze Switzerland: traditional barley cream soup (HKD220), venison rossini (HKD480) classic wiener schnitzel (HKD980), and seasonal mushrooms and black truffle, gruyère, emmental (HKD420) fondue.

For diners with a sweet tooth, Le Chalet Suisse (HKD238) Swiss chocolate chalet is a winner for lovers of hot chocolate, or the crêpres suzette (HKD458) suitable for two guests, served with orange sauce and vanilla ice cream.
