Ahead of the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 awards ceremony coming to Hong Kong on Mar. 25, four restaurants from Hong Kong have placed on the 51–100 extended list.

Amber (90) has earned its first placement on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for the first time in five years, when it placed 37th, whilst Andō (88) has slid down from number 41 in the 2025 guide.

Compared to last year, VEA (70) and Ta Vie (68) have dropped 17 and four places respectively, with Seoul-, Bangkok-, and Japanese-based restaurants rivalling other Asian destinations for top food.

Notably missing from last year’s extended list are Hong Kong restaurants Xin Rong Ji (56), Feuille (93), and 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA (94).

All eyes will be on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony in two weeks, live-streamed from 8PM, to see where these three restaurants and last year’s six top 50 Hong Kong venues – The Chairman (2), WING (3), Caprice (18), Neighborhood (21), MONO (24), and Estro (32) – will place this year.
