Vibrant Vietnamese restaurant Bistro Hoi An is going big for the next two months with the launch of Hong Kong’s largest bánh mì.
From Apr. 23 to Jun. 30, Bistro Hoi An’s branches in Tsim Sha Tsui and Tuen Mun are celebrating Ho Chi Minh City’s annual Bánh Mì Festival with the launch of the limited-time 20-inch-long bamboo charcoal bánh mì (HKD188), filled to the brim with house-made chicken and pork liver pâtés, five‑spice pork belly, pork floss, pickled vegetables, spring onion, coriander, chilli, and Vietnamese mayo.
Bring your mates to savour this sandwich wonder, which is limited to just 20 servings each day. Pre-ordering at least 24 hours in advance is recommended.
To pair with your gigantic Vietnamese sarnie, Bistro Hoi An’s coffee offerings make for the ideal bevvies. The restaurant has partnered with the renowned Hoi An Roastery, which champions direct trade with small farms in central Vietnam, to deliver classic Vietnamese coffee drinks the likes of the cà phê sữa (coffee with condensed milk) and cà phê dừa (iced coffee with condensed milk and coconut).
During the two-month-long bánh mì promotion period, each cup of speciality coffee (or tea) is priced at just HKD28.
