Staying put in the Soho area, six-year-old Taqueria Super Macho is this month making the move from its Bridges Street address to a cosier location on Shelley Street alongside the Central–Mid-Levels escalators.

Until the big move at the end of September, the Mexican hotspot is celebrating its soon-to-be second life with a special weekend brunch menu available every Saturday and Sunday until Sep. 27.

Dubbed “Sábado Loco” (though it can also be ordered on Domingo), the brunch is priced at an unbeatable HKD228 per adult and HKD108 per child under 10.

This down-home sharing feast includes potato and cheese taquitos, grilled Mexican street corn, and chilaquiles to start, followed by an epic spread of five tacos, including al pastor pork and lamb barbacoa.

To truly get into that fiesta frame of mind, two-hour free flow Corona beer and margaritas can be added on for HKD188 a head.
