Rosewood Hong Kong has been named The World’s Best Hotel 2026, awarded the prestigious title for the second year in a row.
The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026 list was revealed last night (Sep. 15) in Paris, again crowning the Rosewood brand’s flagship property with the top rank. “In a city crowded with skyscrapers, Rosewood Hong Kong still manages to stand out,” reads the hotel’s entry on the top 50 list.
Rosewood Hong Kong also earns the title of The Best Hotel in Asia 2026, beating Capella Bangkok to first place for a second year running. The list spans 22 global destinations across six continents.
Speaking on the repeat win at the awards ceremony, Hugo Montanari, managing director of Rosewood Hong Kong, shares, “I’m lost for words. To win it two years in a row, that’s down to everyone who comes and sees us, visits the hotel, eats at our restaurants, and enjoys our spa. It shows that the team back home are making it special every day.”
Elsewhere in Hong Kong, Upper House Hong Kong graduates to number 8, two spots higher than the 2025 list, and The Peninsula Hong Kong cracks the top 50 list for the first time with a 46th-place ranking.
