The Lan Kwai Fong, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is set to be Central’s newest hotel property come the turn of 2027.
Stationed on Arbuthnot Road across Tai Kwun and steps above Lan Kwai Fong, The Lan Kwai Fong keeps arrangements compact with just 41 rooms stretched across 21 floors, with one restaurant operating at the foot of the property.
The Hilton hotel will host a number of 65-square-meter King Lan Kwai Fong suites and 33-square-meter king guest room, king deluxe room, and twin guest rooms.
The Lan Kwai Fong replaces Ovolo Central which closed in March 2026.
Taking the space once occupied by VEDA Café & Bar, the hotel will open a “speakeasy themed restaurant presenting fresh ideas on Sichuan-Chinese fusion cuisine.”
Reservations open Jan. 1, 2027 for rooms and suites. It is understood that the restaurant will also open on or just after New Year’s Day.
Tapestry Collection by Hilton operates 246 hotels worldwide, with properties closer to home in Taipei, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Lingshui in Hainan, and Langfang on the outskirts of Beijing.
