The Peninsula Boutique & Café is adding a burst of bunny sunshine to the dwindling days of summer with its collaboration with cherished Dutch rabbit character Miffy.

Created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna, Miffy first appeared in a picture book in 1955, celebrating her 70th anniversary this year. In Hong Kong, the simply drawn but always appealing character is being put on a pedestal at The Peninsula hotel’s shop and café with the launch of a range of limited-time Miffy menu items and merchandise.

The star of the dine-in show is the Miffy mango parfait (HKD148), house-made mango soft-serve layered with coconut and pomelo and topped with a Miffy biscuit, available from Aug. 21. For takeaway, diners can instead opt for the Miffy mango soft-serve cone (HKD48).

More Miffy-themed sweet contenders include the Miffy cheesecake (HKD98) and Miffy tiramisu (HKD98).

Diners can complete their experience by purchasing Miffy merch, such as a Miffy plush toy or Miffy keychain.

No one will go home empty-handed though – upon purchase of any Pen Bear and Miffy merchandise or featured item on the menu, guests will be gifted with a Pen Bear and Miffy sticker set. And for those who spend HKD500 or more on plush toys, a Miffy keychain blind box awaits!
