Hong Kong has got itself a new five-star hotel on its hands, and with the recent opening of Kimpton Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui comes two swanky rooftop bars.

First up on the 50th floor is Swim Club, sat next to the rooftop infinity pool and decked out in a cool Cali style with a distinct nod to the films of Wes Anderson. The seasonal cocktails shaken up here are light and refreshing, made with local ingredients.

In contrast to this laid-back watering hole, High Dive next door has a much more exclusive, luxurious feel. With just eight seats, the lounge focuses on auction-bought rare spirits, which are served in Baccarat crystal glassware to complement the striking crystal chandelier on display.

Ram Yadav, the hotel’s beverage director, is in charge of the drink programmes of both bars. Ram has quite an impressive mixology CV, having cut his chops at notable global bars that include Sidecar in New Delhi and Goa Nights in Macau.
