I’ve said it a million times, Bistro du Vin is my favourite French bistro in all of Kennedy Town!
Their classic soufflé is so delicious and superbly fluffy, made with an orange brandy that so effortlessly melts in your mouth. It’s served with a simple scoop of vanilla ice cream and slivered almonds that gives it a perfect cold and crunchy kick.

Popping up in the center of Causeway Bay, this little dessert corner has been the talk of town amongst the youngsters. Being one of those local cafes that serves both Westernised desserts as well as all day breakfast and other eats, their desserts are definitely worth mentioning. Their soufflé of the day is always flavoured with white chocolate at the base. By itself it is fluffy and light, which creates a symphony of contrasting flavours and textures when combined with the raspberry sorbet.

Having just opened in early September, IVY is the latest restaurant under the Gaia Group, having taken the former location of St. Betty. Offering a cuisine inspired by the French Riviera, they make use of a vast majority of fresh vegetables, grains and traditional French cheeses. The restaurant also offers exotic, healthy and delightful gourmets. One sweet signature features a giant soufflé that is crafted to serve two hungry individuals. There’s no better way to describe this big delicacy other than it’s soft and sweet with a hint of Grand Marnier flavouring that just hits the spot. Perfecto!
