Founded by Mr. Howard Cai, Howard’s Gourmet presents Chinese cuisine that is simple yet sophisticated, refined and distinctive. The Guangzhou restaurant opened in December 2005, and it has since earned international acclamation due to Mr. Cai’s philosophy of executing ingredients in the best way possible.
The highly anticipated restaurant has now come to Hong Kong. The new restaurant overlooks the beautiful Victoria Harbor, and is located in the heart of Central in the CCB Tower. Conceived and designed by Sir David Tang, the interior is elegant and inviting with its high ceilinged dining rooms and white French windows. With five private rooms, a bar and a cigar room, the classy and cosy setting serves as a canvas for a unique and refined Chinese cuisine dining experience.

Howard’s Gourmet’s signature dishes include pan-fried fish fillet with herbs, crispy sea cucumber, braised blue mussels, and avocado with stewed bird’s nest, among others. For lunch, the restaurant offers tasting menus of 6-8 courses at HK$800 and up, and tasting menus of 10-12 courses for dinner at HK$1680 and up. With a mix of seasonal, classic and creative dishes, Howard’s Gourmet definitely brings us a new take on traditional Chinese cuisine.
