South Africa is a vibrant and multicultural society, and the discourse between the different generations and cultures is giving rise to innovative and original wine styles. Indulge in traditional South African foods such as sosaties (meat skewers), boerewors (farmers’ sausage), chicken pie and ystervarkies (small sponge cakes coated in chocolate and grated coconut, aka lamingtons). International flavours include veggie-friendly mushroom and truffle tart with goat’s cheese and deep-fried vegetable samosas with tamarind sauce, plus crab and broccoli quiche and hazelnut napoleon slices.
