Robots are starting in on the delivery industry, and we’re not talking drones this time, but autonomous vehicles carrying groceries and takeaway. Starship Technologies will begin by deploying the bots in university campuses and neighbourhoods in Europe and the US. They’ve already begun testing the concept by partnering with food-delivery companies. Now Starship says they’re ready to scale it up and roll the robots out mainstream following their latest round of funding. For us, this begs the question: do you tip a delivery bot?
