Prepare for the The Beast Tandem Challenge (HKD1,500 for 2), a 20-minute timed feast pitting you and a partner against a mountain of food, comprising four pieces of fried chicken, 400 grams of beef brisket, 400 grams of pulled pork, a whole rack of ribs, two sausages, brisket baked beans, one serving of fries, four chunks of cornbread, one piece of chocolate cake, one ice-cream sundae, and one litre of beer. 

If you manage to complete the challenge, you’ll earn yourself a free meal and a whopping HK$1,000 meal voucher to spend on your next meaty adventure at the BBQ house.

If spice and chicken is more your thing, chomp on the Who Wants the Smoke (HKD150 pp) food challenge, where, à la Sean Evans and Hot Ones, you must dig into a line-up of eight wings drenched in progressively hotter sauces. The in-house sauces include blackcurrant-coffee BBQ sauce, jalapeño-coriander hot sauce, and pineapple-tamarind BBQ sauce.

If the challenger can endure each hot wing and refrain from drinking water for at least five minutes after devouring the last wing, they eat for free, win a HK$200 voucher at Smoke & Barrel, and get their name displayed on the eating challenges wall of fame.
