In a marriage of Italian flavours, Michelin-starred Neapolitan restaurant Estro and everyone’s favourite Roman-style drinkery Bar Leone are hosting a one-night-only dinner and cocktail tasting on Apr. 2

From 6:30PM, a six-course tasting menu (HKD1,280 pp) themed on the rivalling Italian food capitals will be presented at Estro by chef Antimo Maria Merone. The menu begins with a aperitivo before diving into a starter of insalata di puntarelle topped with mackerel and anchovy emulsion and a seafood-strong carciofi alla giudià with red prawn and burrata.

Mains include a delectable spaghetti cacio e “pepi” and rich, tomatoey bottoni all’amatriciana. For proteins, sink your teeth into pollo alla cacciatora topped with tomato and herbs. Diners can end on a high note with classic tiramisu.

Bartending master Lorenzo Antinori will present cocktail pairings throughout the meal at an additional cost of HKD400.

If you’re not available to make it on the day, find yourself at Bar Leone on Apr. 28 to enjoy a pop-up with Estro to savour chef Antimo’s Neapolitan snacks with Lorenzo’s drinks.
