Hidden in a Tsim Sha Tsui East alley, occupying a space at Hysan Place in Causeway Bay, and entering the new AIRSIDE mall in Kai Tak, Asura may be your next favourite Thai restaurant.

Asura is famously staffed by ex-Samsen chefs at their original shop in Tsim Sha Tsui East, their first location, which opened in January 2023.

Their reasonably priced menu features the usual suspects of pad thai with tiger prawns (HKD118), green papaya salad (HKD78), and Thai green curry with chicken (HKD158).

E-sarn sausage (HKD88), grilled abalone (HKD58/pc), and northern-style grilled yellow oil mullet (HKD268) spice up the menu with dashes of spicy northern Thai plates.

Whilst not heavily publicised, the Samsen-trademarked plating and flavours can be seen throughout the menu. The prices run affordable at the new Thai restaurant chain.
