Whether you’re from the UK, studied in the country, travelled there, or have found a sudden craving for fish and chips, The Chippy is one of Hong Kong’s very few spots where diners can enjoy this British staple.

Drag yourself to Discovery Bay and find a pukka British vibe emanating from the fish-and-chips restaurant.

To make that ferry ride worthwhile all the way to the beachside town, order a sharing of the signature cod and chips (HKD198/120z), battered sausage (HKD48), and a Pukka pie – we recommend the chicken balti (HKD78) and beef and onion (HKD78).

Founded in 2015, the fish-and-chips restaurant once stood in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay, before focusing its efforts in Discovery Bay with British beer and cider, Cornish pasties, fried fish, pies, and chips.
