Launched in 2015, the McDonald’s branch at Admiralty Station in the heart of Hong Kong’s business and hotel centre is arguably one of the fanciest fast-food outlets in the world.

International architects Landini Associates joined the fast-food giant to create an innovative design and customer experience at the branch, elevating the fast-food experience with a sleek interior and gourmet-designed burgers and salads.

Differing from the standard menu at a McDonald’s, which is also available at this branch, the Admiralty fast-food restaurant allows diners to order custom-made salads crafted with fresh ingredients and burgers featuring novel items not found at other branches.

The salad bar includes 19 ingredients, such as spinach, quinoa, aubergine, and Thousand Island dressing. The branch sees more seasonal and collaborative burger meal promotions than neighbouring locations in Hong Kong.

Also unique to this McDonald’s restaurant is that this location operates table service after guests place orders, a lifesaver for some.
