On the eve of the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 awards ceremony, hosted at the ritzy Rosewood Hong Kong hotel on Jul. 16, the extended rankings for the best 51–100 bars in Asia have been announced, with four Hong Kong bars making the cut.
Mizunara: The Library (66), Honky Tonks Tavern (67), The Old Man (71), and Tell Camellia (97) have placed on the 51–100 list, lauded for their continued achievements in serving Hong Kong well-crafted cocktails.
The Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023 rankings saw eight Hong Kong bars place in their top 50 rankings and five on the 51–100 list. The Pontiac took the number 23 spot on the 2023 list.
This year, Honky Tonks Tavern climbs 22 places from 98 in 2023, Tell Camellia retains its place at 97, and Mizunara climbs 20 places from 86 in 2023. The Old Man falls out of the top 50 rankings, dropping from 47 to 71.
