After 12 wonderful years in Wan Chai, top Spanish tapas restaurant 22 Ships is moving to a new home at PMQ in Central this summer.

Announced by chef Antonio Oviedo, the Wan Chai stalwart will be refreshing its image and culinary offerings at a new location at PMQ, with the entrance located on Staunton Street. The last day of operation in Wan Chai is Aug. 21 and the soft-opening at PMQ begins on Sep. 6.

Named after the current location on Ship Street in Wan Chai, 22 Ships has been a neighbourhood favourite since opening in 2012. They stock top-notch tapas and refined Spanish dishes and drinks, along with a tasty no-service-charge policy. The restaurant has recently started accepting reservations, so you now have even more reason to visit.

The new PMQ location of 22 Ships is said to explore a blend of rustic and retro design elements, also promising the same quality tapas and drinks as have been enjoyed in Wan Chai for over a decade.
