As we settle into hotpot season, we have another option for savouring this cherished Chinese dining tradition with the debut of the hotpot dinner buffet (HKD698 for adults) at The Food Gallery, The Langham hotel’s modern all-day-dining buffet restaurant.

This fabulous spread showcases over 60 all-you-can-eat hotpot dipping ingredients and a diverse selection of homemade soup bases, including fish maw and chicken, cordyceps and Silkie chicken, and Sichuan ma la. A seafood platter with abalone, razor clams, and prawns will be brought to each table too.

As always at The Food Gallery’s buffets, the price tag includes a self-service beverage station with more than 30 non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink options and a slap-up dessert corner.

This hotpot-focused buffet is available from now until the end of November, with an early-bird price of HKD498 if the table is returned before 7PM (the dinner session runs from 5PM till 10PM). Those dining with little ones in tow should also take note that the buffet (minus the seafood platter and soup base) is free for kids below 12!
