Our list of affordable fine-dining restaurants just got a new addition with news of Auor’s winter tasting menu promotion, giving diners the opportunity to enjoy a free meal on the house with every three paid tasting menus. Double date, anyone?

For the upcoming winter season, chef-founder Edward Voon has released his latest seasonal tasting menu (HKD980 for 4 courses; HKD1,180 for 6 courses), celebrating the circle of life with the Singaporean chef’s unique mix of Asian flavours and French culinary techniques.

Dish highlights include the Sicilian red shrimp with Sichuan sorbet, ikura, celtuce, and wild rice to start, Chinese rock pigeon with caulilini, black garlic, and Shaoxing wine jus for the meaty centrepiece, and, for dessert, the Asian pear tang yuan with Chinese almond and D24 durian ice cream.

A bonus, Auor has another gift to diners who enjoy a bottle or two with dinner: free corkage!
