BaseHall 02 is not stopping with its expansion. After adding viral sourdough bakery CUÍT to its F&B portfolio this past summer, the Central food hall has just welcomed two newcomers.

For fans of Korean cuisine, Hancham Korean Meathouse, an offshoot of the restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, should do the trick. Traditional Korean faves such as kimchi jjigae (HKD88) spicy pork and tofu stew, galbi tang (HKD138) beef-bone soup, original crispy fried chicken (HKD158), and bulgogi kimbap (HKD78) compete with the BaseHall-exclusive Hancham bibimbap (from HKD98). In this classic Korean rice dish, Hancham diners can create their own bespoke stone pot with a choice of meat or tofu, vegetables, white or wholegrain rice, and the eatery’s special lemon-soy sauce.

BaseHall moves to Taiwan with the opening of Yuan Is Here, another branch of the cherished Taiwanese restaurant originating in Kennedy Town. Must-order bites here include the Taiwanese mini sausage (HKD40), Taiwanese crepes (HKD55) filled with the likes of meat floss, corn, and cheese, and braised pork rice (HKD68)

Bubble tea lovers, take note – Yuan Is Here’s delightful pearl milk tea (HKD32) is also on board at BaseHall!
