On Wednesday night (Mar. 26), 22 die-hard Foodie readers joined together for Foodie’s first Secret Suppers dinner of 2025 to enjoy the company of other food-loving enthusiasts alongside great food!
Meeting at Sheung Wan’s MTR station after work, the group were guided to the secret dinner at Ăn Chơi, rated the Foodie Forks 2024 Best Vietnamese Restaurant.
We were treated to a new, Foodie-exclusive menu on the night, featuring bánh bèo royal steamed rice cake, flaming beef and sesame rice cracker, jellyfish and duck salad, quail, goat curry, and bánh xèo. It was a bright Vietnamese affair!
As the Vietnamese canned beer flowed and food was shared with love, Foodie readers enjoyed meeting new Hong Kongers and sharing a meal at one of Hong Kong’s buzziest spots, all kept a secret until the very last minute.
