Diners can get a range of great perks at Calle Ocho on Tuesdays until May 31, and all they have to do is show their HKID or official travel document to do so.

Every Tuesday evening at the Spanish tapas emporium, Valencian-style suckling pig takes centre stage, with chef Fred Sistelo putting on a “suckling pig show” by carving the pig in the traditional style using a porcelain plate.

Here’s how the perk system works: the more letters of “suckling pig” that match the letters of the alphabet in your name on your ID, the bigger your dining prizes. Match three letters and you’ll be gifted with a welcome drink. Five matching letters equates to a complimentary jar of sangria, whilst eight of the same letters comes with a free tapa.

The ultimate reward is a whole suckling pig (HKD1,488 value) for the table! To win this scrumptious porky treat, you’ll need to match all 11 letters (which means you’ll need two each of the letters “G” and “I” in your name).
