Celebrating its seventh anniversary in Hong Kong this year, Cookie DPT has launched its very own egg tart to rival neighbouring bakeries, a whopping three times the size of your average egg tart.
The Giant Egg Tart (HKD30) weighs 160 grams and is as large as the average human palm. The egg tart features multiple layers of napoleon pastry crafting the shell, with an egg custard filling inside the pastry. Flaky sea salt is sprinkled over the egg tart to offer balance.
Hungry egg tart lovers can snap up this pastry from May 31 at 3PM, coinciding with the bakery’s second-edition Cookie DPT House Blend Vol. 2 party on Jun. 1 from 2–5PM.
