The Peninsula Hong Kong’s revelrous Swiss restaurant Chesa reveals a new way to enjoy its European food with a new and expanded menu.

Chesa, with 60 years of history in Tsim Sha Tsui in its pocket, has undergone a renovation to elicit nostalgia for Alpine dining in Switzerland, with a woodsy interior inspired by après skiing and Swiss chalets.

Whilst classic cheese fondue was central to the menu in the restaurant’s previous iterations, Chesa brings new dishes to the fore that ooze traditional Switzerland: barley cream soup (HKD220), venison Rossini (HKD480), wiener schnitzel (HKD980), and fondue of seasonal mushrooms, black truffle, Gruyère, and Emmental (HKD420).

For diners with a sweet tooth, Le Chalet Suisse (HKD238), a Swiss chocolate chalet, is a winner for lovers of hot chocolate, whilst the crêpes Suzette (HKD458), suitable for two guests, is served with a flourish alongside orange sauce and vanilla ice cream.
