On Apr. 29, inline and Foodie invited a crowd of cocktail-enthused Hong Kongers for a sip of Hong Kong culture at a collaborative bar event joining together The Opposites and The Savory Project.

Serving four cocktails and two snacks inspired by the flavours and culinary heritage of Hong Kong, co-founder Samuel Kwok of The Opposites and co-founder Ajit Gurung of The Savory Project flexed for a sold-out bar crowd thirsty for their cocktail magic.

Ajit Gurung’s cocktails, a Sichuan-spiced gin-powered Málà Punch and Sesame Old Fashioned using local Hong Kong soy sauce from Sheung Shui, complimented the tipples served by Samuel Kwok, the seasonal tequila-base Maria’s Plum with Pat Chun aged vinegar-mixed cocktail and Soya Sour with smacks of a tofu, ginger and matcha.
