In addition to delicious handmade Swedish sweet treats the likes of cinnamon buns (HKD40), semla (HKD50), and princess cake (HKD55) up for grabs, this cosy new café presents a tidy menu of comforting savoury bites, ranging from sourdough open sandwiches (from HKD78) to Swedish meatballs (HKD128) with all the traditional trimmings, including a mean lingonberry jam.

PARKSIDE@NINA CWB The best new restaurants to try in Hong Kong June 2026

Housed within Nina Hotel Causeway Bay, this restaurant’s dreamy interiors are seemingly made for the ‘gram, in particular the striking calla‑lily‑inspired lighting installations pictured above. PARKSIDE@NINA CWB’s all-day menu presents creative takes on international favourites complemented by Asian-inspired cocktails. At a recent tasting, we enjoyed the garlic flatbread (HKD138) accented with edamame hummus and scallop and super-savoury braised beef shank and tendon fusilli lunghi bucati (HKD158) on the Western side of the spectrum. We’ll be back to try some of the Eastern specialities, such as the Hainanese chicken rice (HKD228) and nasi goreng (HKD168).

Giving recently opened Vincenzo Capuano in Wan Chai a run for its money, on the other side of town – Kai Tak, to be exact – we present you with another quality Neapolitan pizzeria, Fugazzi. The al-fresco garden terrace is our preferred spot to dig into the trattoria’s well-blistered and crisp yet chewy 12-inch Neapolitan pies baked up to perfection in the hand-built Stefano Ferrara Forni pizza oven. You can go simple and classic with the pizza Napoletana (HKD158) anointed with San Marzano tomato sauce, fior di latte, basil, and olive oil or more modern with the likes of the tomato-free pizza al carbonara (HKD178). Fugazzi’s menu also features antipasti, house-made pasta dishes, and plenty more Italian numbers.

Those with pups in tow will be delighted to learn that the terrace is pet friendly, and there’s a dedicated pet menu (HKD50–70) to boot.

There’s something for everyone from breakfast through to dinner, be it the CENTRAL TABLE big breakfast (HKD218) starring in-house dry-aged Chiang Mai sausage or rock lobster and clam vermicelli pot (HKD368) plucked from the restaurant’s live seafood tank.

Opening officially on Jun. 2, Don Pedro is Hong Kong’s newest steakhouse, offering a genuine tribute to Argentinian culinary culture in Sai Ying Pun. The 35-seat candlelit restaurant is the brainchild of culinary titan Chris Mark and business partner Vidur Yadav and offers an unparalleled steak experience showcasing beef sourced from the same farms as Don Julio in Buenos Aires, which many regard as the world’s top steakhouse. Diners can choose between two dry-aged grass-fed beef cuts – the ojo de bife (HKD328/340g) boneless rib-eye and bife de lomo (HKD298/228g) tenderloin – plates of house-made charcuterie (from HKD88), beef empanadas (HKD58/pc), and more – all washed down with plenty of Malbec, the hero grape of Argentina.

Accessed via the lane where Vission Bakery is located, Lazy Suzy‘s cheeky menu hits so far include the squid toast (HKD78/pc), fried chicken (HKD118) laced with Yu Kwen Yick chilli sauce and ranch made with fermented bean curd, and Sichuan-spiced barramundi (HKD198) and mapo mac & cheese (HKD138).
