The 93-year-old dim sum parlour Luk Yu Tea House has broken ground with a new speakeasy serving tea-infused cocktails.

Premium tea is brewed for infusing into the eight cocktails (HKD150 each) on the menu, with a suave design pickled on the first floor for a preserved peek at what a cocktail bar might have looked like in the 1930s.

Luk Yu Tea Club’s signatures include Moonlit Blossom with sparkling jasmine gin with orange blossom, Jade Mystery with Tieguanyin-infused gin, tamarind, and green apple, and Tipsy Velvet, mixing Wing Lee Wai rose wine, lychee, rose, and hibiscus.

In classic speakeasy tradition, this is a walk-in only establishment. Luk Yu Tea Club is open Fridays and Saturdays from 6PM to midnight

Luk Yu Tea Club, 1/F, Luk Yu Tea House, 24–26 Stanley Street, Central, 2523 5464
