Soho Korean drinking den obp. will be serving its final glasses of soju and plates of Korean food on Sep. 19

Shared exclusively with Foodie, Yong Soo Do, group chef and business development manager of Liberty Group, has revealed the restaurant’s closure today (Sep. 8), thanking its customers for their support during obp.’s journey operating on Old Bailey Street since late 2020.

The Korean restaurant was opened by chef Junwoo Choi and drink expert Daniel Eun. obp. took inspiration from South Korea’s sool-jip alcohol houses, where soju and beer are complemented by heaping portions of fried chicken and more.

In late July, Liberty Group’s 11 Westside in Kennedy Town closed suddenly. The taqueria was open for nearly a decade.
