You’ll have to be speedy to get yourself a box of GOLDEN CHEESE Korean cheesecake, an offshoot of viral dessert shop GOLDEN PIECE, famous for its luxury yakgwa, or traditional deep-fried honey pastry.

At the GOLDEN CHEESE pop-up that’s recently landed at AIRSIDE mall in Kai Tak, only 100 boxes of cheesecake are flown in daily from South Korea. There are three flavours up for ordering, headlined by the rich and dense classic golden cheesecake (HKD228), with its crunchy, caramelised top torched on-site.

The other two cheesecake options are the golden red bean (HKD238) and golden mugwort red bean (HKD238), which might be an acquired taste for some owing to its herbal, earthy flavour.

Each cheesecake at the pop-up, running until Mar. 24, 2027, comes with a bunny-shaped cake knife and cool bag.
