For three weeks this October, Central Market tenants Chef’s Market and Stormies have teamed up once again to dish out classic German fare the likes of pretzel with Munich cold cuts and beer cheese spread (HKD108), roasted pork knuckle (HKD218), grilled Nuremberg sausage (HKD168/6pcs), and apple strudel (HKD95) alongside foamy steins of Löwenbräu and Franziskaner. For all the oompah fans out there, Bavarian folk band Die Notenhobler headlines the event with daily performances that are sure to get guests’ feet tapping.

2. Kerry Hotel Docktoberfest

Kerry Hotel ’s month-long Docktoberfest is another staple of Hong Kong’s Oktoberfest scene. The event takes place at the hotel’s harbour-facing food hall, Dockyard, which is transformed into a traditional Bavarian beer tent on Fridays and Saturdays in October. A highlight is the three-hour free-flow beer package, coming with bottomless draught beer, including German brews Löwenbräu, Beck’s, and Franziskaner. German delicacies such as pork knuckle, pork schnitzel burger, and a German wurst platter are on the menu when those hunger pangs strike. Beer games and live music performances await too.

3. FRITES Oktoberfest

FRITES Central’s annual Bavarian bash returns with a bang for one night only in 2026. Each ticket is inclusive of five hours of unlimited draught Löwenbräu, Prosecco, mimosas, house red and white wine, soft drinks, and juices, so you’ll need some quality German food to keep you on your toes alongside all that alcohol. The eatery’s Oktoberfest specials include pork knuckle, Bavarian sausages, pretzels, and apple strudel. Guests who earn their stripes stand the chance to win prizes by taking part in FRITES’ classic Oktoberfest games.

4. Heimat Oktoberfest

The restaurant’s dedicated Oktoberfest menu offers an extensive list of bona fide Bavarian dishes that go far beyond the norm, the sausage selection in particular. Standout plates include the kartoffelsuppe (HKD108) potato soup, trüffel bockwurst (HKD148) smoked truffle sausage, knusprige schweinshaxe (HKD368 for 2) crispy pork knuckle, and Schwarzwälder kirschtorte (HKD98) Black Forest cake. The traditional German beer selection is just as noteworthy, from Dunkel to Kellerbier.

5. BaseHall Oktoberfest

Spearheaded by Hong Kong’s very own Young Master Brewery, this is BaseHall’s sixth Oktoberfest party, and the hype has not yet died down. What’s in store at this one-night-only jolly Bavarian beer hall? First and foremost, loads of Young Master Festbier is up for sipping, perfect for pairing with the German-inspired snacks whipped up by BaseHall’s wide variety of vendors. Guests can also look forward to the traditional keg-tapping ceremony, stein-holding contest, live oompah band, and – most of all – on-point Munich vibes.

Sheraton Tung Chung’s outdoor Oktoberfest festivities, a partnership with both Carlsberg and 24/7 FITNESS, are new to the list this year. Held poolside at the hotel’s transportive garden area, this one has got it all: beer galore (Carlsberg, Erdinger, and Young Master), BBQ bites, live DJ, and games (including the intriguing-sounding “Squat, Sit, Survive!” fitness challenge). The suggested dress code for the day is “summer never ends,” with an incredible prize of two round-trip flight tickets to Fukuoka awarded to the best-dressed participant (lederhosen teamed with flip-flops, perhaps?).
