Hong Kong is a notoriously expensive city, and this is most apparent when out eating and drinking. That’s why there’s nothing we love more than excellent deals.

Happy hours are easy to come by, with many establishments offering amazing discounts on alcoholic beverages. But our minds always turn to food. So where can we go to get a little snack along with our post-work wine?

These spots – interestingly, many are Italian – have our food-loving interests at heart...

Posto Pubblico

Posto Pubblico Hong Kong

One of our favourite SoHo stalwarts, Posto Pubblico by Red Sauce Hospitality is a vibrant spot for an after-work drink. However, thanks to their awesome free-flow deal during happy hour, we can promise you it won’t just be one drink. Enjoy two hours of free-flow beer, wine and spirits along with a tasty selection of antipasti such as fresh bread, cold cuts and pickled veggies.

CIAK – In The Kitchen

CIAK – In The Kitchen Hong Kong

CIAK – In The Kitchen is one of our more prestigious happy-hour entries. Helmed by three-Michelin-starred chef Umberto Bombana, CIAK is Hong Kong’s first and only trattoria to be awarded a Michelin star. While their à-la-carte menu is certainly on the pricier side, their aperitivo hour offers an amazing deal. Just buy one drink and eat your heart out with some authentic Italian treats.
