Maxim’s Place’s new Mong Kok location inside MOKO brings together the old – classic hand-pushed dim sum carts – with the new – modern interpretations on classic dishes.
In April, the dim sum restaurant chain is set to open the inaugural Maxim’s Dim Sum Academy with chefs at Maxim’s Place leading classes for budding dim sum cooks who want to master the art.
With classes taught in both English and Cantonese, attendees can learn over 20 dim sum dishes and master two Cantonese delicacies per class. Courses at the Mong Kok restaurant start at HKD450 per person.
Upon graduating from the class, attendees can earn themselves a Maxim’s Place-themed apron, certificate of completion, and a HKD100 dining voucher to use at the restaurant.
