For one night only, inline and Foodie are uniting two Asia’s 50 Best Bars with off-menu and special cocktails and snacks celebrating the spirit of Hong Kong flavours and drinking.

Hosted on Apr. 29 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM at The Opposites, co-founder Ajit Gurung of The Savory Project (Asia’s 50 Best Bars No. 32) joins forces with co-founder Samuel Kwok of The Opposites (Asia’s 50 Best Bars No. 80) to present a menu of Hong Kong-inspired cocktails and snacks.

Ajit Gurung’s savory flair comes to this event with the Málà Punch, a Sichuan-spiced gin cocktail, and the off-menu Sesame Old Fashioned, twisted with toasted sesame seeds, with both cocktails mixed with local Hong Kong soy sauce from Sheung Shui.

Samuel Kwok’s two cocktails served for the event bring about nostalgia and history with the seasonal Maria’s Plum, a tequila, salted-plum, and Pat Chun aged vinegar-mixed cocktail with hints of spice, and the Soya Sour, a tofu & ginger, matcha, and passion fruit and lime-flavoured pisco cocktail.

Snacks on offer include The Opposites’ classic hot wave fries and curry cod croquettes.

The bar event tickets begin at HKD250 with a choice of two cocktails from the selection of four libations, with a HKD300 ticket including two cocktails and a choice of one snack. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
