ThongSmith’s sweet business arm is coming Hong Kong’s way this summer. Prepare for more sticky and sweet fruity snacks in Wan Chai.
ThongSweet Siamese dessert bar, the sister shop to Thailand’s rabidly adored boat noodle chain, is set to open doors imminently in Hong Kong, according to the Hong Kong team operating the brand’s first overseas store.
Specialising in shaved coconut ice desserts and heaving plates of fried banana fritters, ThongSweet is due a visit for a takeaway sweet snack following your boat noodles enjoyed next door.
Expect a menu of icy summer coolers, desserts already on the ThongSmith menu, and new dessert items that match Hong Kong’s sugary liking.
ThongSweet operates in three locations across Bangkok, compared to more than two dozen in Thailand’s capital.
