Blue Bottle Coffee is expanding its Cali-cool presence in the city with a local touch at Cityplaza in Quarry Bay.

The new café at Cityplaza – the sixth in the city for the US coffee giant – takes a minimalistic “Hong Kong Streets” design approach through its interpretation of traditional scaffolding, bamboo weaving, and ironwork patterns in modern ways.

Also exclusive to this location is the Hong Kong launch of Blue Bottle’s cold brew Kyoto-style espresso, taking the form of the iced latte with Kyoto-style espresso (HKD52) and iced mocha with Kyoto-style espresso (HKD58), both of which are rich and silky smooth.

To complement your Japanese-inspired beverages, this Blue Bottle branch serves up tempting food bites that can only be found at this shop, including the honey butter toast (HKD38), peanut butter cream waffle plate (HKD78), and basil hummus brunch plate (HKD108), a hearty mélange of salad greens, cherry tomato, mushroom, basil hummus, soft-boiled egg, bacon, and toast.
