A bakery like no other, Tarte by RH, has opened its first brick-and-mortar location at THE SOUTHSIDE mall in Wong Chuk Hang.

The online patisserie was founded in 2020 by private chef Rania Hatoum to showcase her collection of luxurious 24K-gold-finished Kaviari Paris caviar tarts accented with the likes of lobster rillettes, steak tartare, and sea urchin. 

The star of the show at the brand’s flagship boutique is chef Rania’s new Hong Kong-style caviar egg tart (HKD188), of which only 50 are available each day. This take on the city’s iconic egg tart pastry is crowned with a mound of Kaviari caviar, merging savoury and sweet in the most decadent way possible. 

Moving beyond Tarte by RH’s signature tarts, the shop stocks a wide range of top-quality caviar and roe from around the world, including Kaviari wild salmon roe (HKD310) and Trikalinos bottarga (HKD490), along with luxury pantry ingredients such as Plantin white truffle extra-virgin olive oil (HKD230) and Plantin black truffle carpaccio (HKD240).
